If you have a passion for art and a keen eye for creativity and innovation, we are looking for you! Rafael Montilla is seeking a talented and motivated Curator or Art Critic to join our team. As an ideal candidate, you should have experience in the art and culture industry, with expertise in contemporary art, geometric abstraction, concrete art, neo-concrete art, and MADI art.
Responsibilities:
Your primary responsibilities will be to research and write about select artworks and artistic movements, develop concepts and themes that highlight diversity and artistic expression, and write critiques and analyses of artworks for specialized publications.
Requirements:
To be considered for this position, you should possess profound knowledge of spiritual practices, philosophies, or deeper spiritual quests that help you better understand your place in the universe, development of consciousness and Nirvana. You should also have knowledge and experience of working with artists who work in geometric abstraction and/or artistic movements such as concrete art, neo-concrete art, MADI art, constructivism, and suprematism. Additionally, a university degree in Art History, Fine Arts, or a related field (preferably a master’s degree) is required, along with previous experience in art curation and art criticism. You should have deep knowledge of art history and contemporary art movements, exceptional writing skills, and the ability to communicate ideas effectively. Strong teamwork and collaboration skills with artists and colleagues are essential, as is a passion for art and a desire to promote creativity and diversity in the community.
