It is a not-for-profit, public benefit organization with 18A status is committed to the promotion of contemporary arts and linked to an extensive network of national institutions that also promote and catalyze cultural change.
UJAMAA ARTS
We are an artist centered organization bringing about a creative revolution, connecting, supporting, championing the artists, making ideas happen, while also providing opportunities for visual artists, through residencies, and related initiatives.
TEWASART GALLERY
Founded in 2019 by Thaddeus Wamukoya, Tewasart Gallery is a contemporary art gallery under TEWASART AND PATRONS, a dynamic online platform and arts consultancy, based in Nairobi, Kenya. With support from our ever-growing network, including local and international artists, curators, and patrons; our mission is to inspire and invest in the growth of contemporary East African art and its artists.
TEWASART AND PATRONS are focused on highlighting and promoting contemporary East African art through organizing pop-up exhibitions, writing, contributing to artistic dialogues, and publishing digital content. Our publications focus on connecting the modern, unconventional and diverse ideas of our artists, to a wider audience. Our stories strive to create and open a map of East African contemporary art, and the artist’s journey.
In its short history, Tewas Art Gallery has become a thriving online platform, facilitating necessary critical engagement with the local and mainstream art markets. Through the dedication, innovative curatorial approach, and experience of our team, we are able to engage with more artists and advisories, in efforts to develop the creative industry, as a whole.

ABOUT
Prizm is pleased to present our annual fair layered with programming that will captivate our attendees. With over 60 emerging and established galleries and artists offering their varied Diasporic narratives and perspectives, riveting conversations lead by new and established thought leaders in Diasporic Visual arts practice and cutting-edge events and installations that offer sensory delight, Prizm is a fair not to be missed during your winter stay in sunny Miami. In light of the impacts of Covid-19, Prizm will host its ninth edition in-person with protocols and measures in place to ensure a safe and healthy experience. We will also offer our programming online for patrons and visitors who would like to enjoy the Prizm experience but would prefer a physically distanced way to do so. Review our past and upcoming events and be sure to save our event dates to your art calendars.
