Merzbau Gallery

Merzbau Gallery is a space dedicated to the study, exhibition, promotion and dissemination of modern and contemporary art. The Gallery carries out an an innovative program in the Miami art scene; it seeks to promote diversity in art, as well as an intense cultural exchange. Merzbau represents and exhibits emerging and mid career local and international artists, whose practices range from photography, painting, installation, sculpture, video, and site-specific practices, amongst others.

Frequently guest curators are invited to conceive and organize new and ambitious projects that furthers Merzbau Gallery´s mission of being a space for cultural exchange and novel discourse production.

Merzbau takes its name from the vast architectural/sculptural project of the Dada artist and poet Kurt Schwitters. The Gallery was established in 2015 in the heart of the artistic district of Miami: Wynwood; the space was previously known as Viloria Blanco Gallery
