Founded by Katia David Rosenthal, KDR305 opened its doors in 2021. Katia represents over a decade of experience in curatorial practice and advising. The gallery is committed to exhibiting emerging and recognized artists from Miami’s backyard and abroad.

Initially situated within the historic Little Havana neighborhood, the gallery took residence in a unique 103-year-old house, offering an unconventional setting for exhibitions.

Galería La Cometa fue fundada hace 35 años con el fin de aportar al desarrollo de la escena artística local. Desde ese entonces la galería ha sido un espacio plural cuya gestión está enfocada a la representación, promoción y difusión de artistas principalmente latinoamericanos, la ha consolidado como una de las plataformas artísticas más influyentes de la región. Hoy, La Cometa cuenta con cuatro sedes en tres países: Colombia (Bogotá y Medellín), España (Madrid) y Estados Unidos (Miami).

La Cometa es un proyecto pensado para facilitar las relaciones entre el espectador, la obra de arte y los artistas, desde las distintas vertientes del arte contemporáneo. Además, el programa de la galería busca de incluir constantemente referentes latinoamericanos de Arte Moderno, que brindan un contexto fundamental a la producción artística actual.

Mindy Solomon Gallery

Mindy Solomon Gallery specializes in contemporary emerging and mid-career artists and art advisory services. The gallery represents artists working in painting, sculpture, photography, and video in both narrative and non-objective styles. The gallery program explores the intersection of art and design through an ongoing dialog between two and three-dimensional objects, while embracing diasporic voices. Utilizing the gallery space as a platform for inventive exhibitions, museum visitations, and public lectures, Solomon invites a sense of community and aesthetic enrichment.

The gallery serves as an incubator for dynamic artists establishing their creative voices and exploring a broad range of exhibition possibilities.
Solomon established her gallery in 2009. She is a founding member of PAB (Progressive Art Brunch) an association of a select group of Miami Art Galleries. She is active in the Miami arts community and serves on the steering committee of the Women’s International Committee at the Perez Art Museum.

Voloshyn Gallery

In 2016, Max and Julia Voloshyn established Voloshyn Gallery in the heart of Kyiv, Ukraine. Situated in a historic 1913 building, Voloshyn Gallery’s space provides an unconventional setting for contemporary art. It exhibits a broad range of works in a variety of media, representing both emerging and established artists. The Voloshyn Gallery hosts solo and group exhibitions, works with accomplished curators and museums, and takes part in leading contemporary art fairs. 

In 2022, Voloshyn Gallery made the difficult decision to close temporarily due to the full-scale invasion on Ukraine. In 2023 the gallery reopened it’s doors in Kyiv, Ukraine and also expanded with a space in Miami, Florida.

Museums

Rubell Museum

The Rubell Museum opened in Miami’s Allapattah neighborhood in December 2019. Its new home was previously six interconnected industrial buildings that were then transformed by Selldorf Architects. Originally launched in 1993 as the Rubell Family Collection, the institution was renamed the Rubell Museum to emphasize its public mission and expand access for audiences. The Museum experience unfolds on a single level, with 36 galleries, a flexible performance space, an extensive research library,a bookstore, and a courtyard garden filled with plants native to South Florida.

The Rubell Museum’s collection is distinguished by its unprecedented range and depth that has enabled the Museum to organize over 50 exhibitions during the last three decades drawn entirely from its holdings in painting, sculpture, photography, video, and installation. These have included such groundbreaking and diverse exhibitions as Richard Prince (2004), Red Eye: Los Angeles Artists (2006), 30 Americans (2008), Against All Odds: Keith Haring (2008), Beg Borrow and Steal (2009), 28 Chinese (2013), NO MAN’S LAND (2015), Still Human (2017), Purvis Young (2018), and Yayoi Kusama (2020). Many of these exhibitions have toured to museums internationally and have been accompanied by catalogues.

Jorge Perez’s El Espacio 23

Located within a repurposed 28,000 square foot warehouse in Miami’s Allapattah neighborhood, El Espacio 23 serves artists, curators and the general public with regular exhibitions, residencies and a variety of special projects drawn from the Pérez Collection.
