A Celebration of Ancestry Through Textile Art
On view from April 4 to July 5, 2025, in the Main and East Galleries, “Ancestral Lines” challenges visitors to explore their heritage through fabric and fiber. The exhibition asks: How do we honor, learn from, and reconcile with our ancestors? Each artist delves into these questions, translating personal narratives into dynamic textile pieces that merge traditional and contemporary techniques. The result is a collective portrait of diverse cultural identities and interwoven histories.
