The multisensory art exhibition marks the fourth consecutive year of ARTECHOUSE’s collaboration with Pantone and showcases the Pantone Color of the Year 2023 at a magnificent scale.

ARTECHOUSE, the leader in innovative, technology-driven experiential art, is thrilled to partner for the fourth consecutive year with Pantone, the global color authority and provider of professional color language standards and digital solutions for the design community, to produce the Pantone Color of the Year 2023 immersive art experience. Curated and designed by ARTECHOUSE Studio, this multisensory exhibition is happening during Art Basel in Miami Beach.

After a VIP preview on Thursday, December 1, the Pantone Color of the Year 2023 exhibition will be on view to the public from Saturday, December 3 through Spring 2023 at the newly renovated ARTECHOUSE South Beach location. The experience invites visitors to fully immerse themselves in the Pantone Color of the Year 2023 for the first time through a multisensory experience featuring multiple installations with various rooms of colors, textures and interactions. More than just a color, the installation presents a fully immersive experience that allows guests to feel the power of a hue scaled to fantastical proportions.

The exhibition, which cost $1 million to create, will feature immersive rooms of colors, textures, and interactions that plunge attendees into an array of visual, auditory, and tactile experiences to present not only the Pantone Color of the Year 2023, but also to draw out its many implications. Working closely with Pantone—whose Pantone Color Institute selects an annual Color of the Year through a detailed process that involves trend analysis, color trend forecasting and research—ARTECHOUSE Studio has created a sophisticated exhibition that carries the full spectrum of moods and experiential associations of the Color of the Year. For the very first time, the exhibition will remain open to the public beyond opening day.

“We are proud to have partnered with Pantone for the past four years on these one-of-a-kind experiences,” said Sandro Kereselidze, Founder and Chief Creative Officer of ARTECHOUSE. “Together, we have been able to use state-of-the-art technology and design tools to push the possibilities not only of the Pantone Color of the Year, but also of immersive art at large. Each year, we have brought bigger and more eager audiences to our work, and we look forward to continuing that project.”

“For the past few years, we have worked with ARTECHOUSE to bring each Pantone Color of the Year to life, and we’re very pleased to have the opportunity to announce the Pantone Color of the Year 2023 at their Miami location this year,” said Elley Cheng, General Manager and Vice President of Pantone. “We are especially excited that the experience will be open to the public for the first time starting December 3, and are looking forward to having visitors explore first-hand the story behind next year’s color, and how it comes to life in various forms and mediums at ARTECHOUSE.”

In 2021, ARTECHOUSE NYC presented an immersive art experience revolving around Very Peri, the Pantone Color of the Year 2022, using the shade PANTONE 17-3938—a dynamic periwinkle blue hue with a vivifying violet red undertone—for a brilliant and unparalleled experience that allowed visitors to “transcend the daily monotony of the concrete jungle,” USA Today said. “When you step into the installation, the outside world melts away.” That project came on the heels of immersive experiences dedicated to Pantone’s Colors of the Year in 2021, PANTONE 17-5104 Ultimate Gray and PANTONE 13-0647 Illuminating, and PANTONE 19-4052 Classic Blue in 2020.

“At ARTECHOUSE, we have always worked to bring previously unimaginable experiences to audiences that are hungry for something new. The goal of this new presentation is to plunge audiences into colors, feelings, environments and digital art in a playful and and intelligent,” said Tati Pastukhova, the organization’s Co-Founder and Executive Director. “This year’s presentation and partnership with Pantone does that and much more.”

The 2023 Color of the Year exhibition is the latest in a series of projects with outside collaborators for which ARTECHOUSE Studio has brought its expertise to realize complex and multifaceted presentations. For previous exhibitions, the Studio has collaborated with some of the most innovative partners working at the intersection of art and technology today, including the Nobel Prize Museum in Stockholm; the Harpa Concert Hall in Reykjavík; and the Society for Neuroscience in for a project Washington, D.C.

The latest installation opens to the public on December 3, 2022. Media interested in more information and a preview should contact PantonePR@hugeinc.com/artechouse@berlirosen.com.
