Following a successful 2026 edition marked by significant sales, strong collector attendance, and extensive media coverage, Art Palm Beach will return to the Palm Beach County Convention Center from January 27–31, 2027. The upcoming edition will feature new international galleries, a retrospective dedicated to Bruce Helander, and the return of the DIVERSEartPB curatorial program.

Palm Beach, Florida — Art Palm Beach is preparing for its 2027 edition following a year of strong sales results and growing international attention. Produced by Fine Art Shows and led by Kassandra Voyagis, the fair will bring together galleries, collectors, curators, and modern and contemporary art professionals for five days in one of South Florida’s leading cultural destinations.

According to the organizers, the 2026 edition achieved record-breaking attendance and sales, with transactions ranging from emerging contemporary works to pieces by established masters in the secondary market. Prices for works sold ranged from approximately $15,000 to more than $600,000, reflecting the diverse interests and investment levels of participating collectors.

Notable sales included David Hockney’s The Arrival of Spring in Woldgate, East Yorkshire, 2011, presented by BLOND Contemporary. Galleries such as Markowicz Fine Arts, Cernuda Arte, and Long-Sharp Gallery also reported significant sales activity.

The previous edition featured presentations that attracted public attention and national media coverage, including an installation by John Knuth, presented by Hollis Taggart Galleries, in which 100,000 live flies participated in the creation of an artwork in real time. A retrospective exhibition of Sylvester Stallone’s artwork also generated interest in a lesser-known dimension of his creative career.

“This year’s Art Palm Beach was a spectacular success by every measure,” said Kassandra Voyagis, Fair Director and Producer, reflecting on the results of the 2026 edition.

New York and Europe Expand Their Presence at Art Palm Beach

For 2027, Art Palm Beach will welcome back New York galleries including Hollis Taggart, Sundaram Tagore Gallery, and Ethan Cohen Gallery, alongside first-time participant Allouche Gallery.

The fair will also welcome new exhibitors from the United States, Canada, and Europe, including Louis Stern Fine Arts from Los Angeles; Rukaj Gallery from Toronto; and Schlieder Contemporary from Frankfurt, which will make its U.S. debut at the event.

These additions reinforce the fair’s international character and expand opportunities for exchange among different art markets and artistic communities.

Bruce Helander: A Retrospective Celebrating His 80th Birthday

One of the central highlights of Art Palm Beach 2027 will be a retrospective dedicated to artist Bruce Helander, presented by Paul Fisher Gallery and sponsored by the Cultural Council for Palm Beach County.

The exhibition will open on January 27, coinciding with the artist’s 80th birthday. Helander has longstanding ties to the Palm Beach cultural community.

His career includes works held in more than 50 public and museum collections, including those of the Solomon R. Guggenheim Museum, the Whitney Museum of American Art, and the Los Angeles County Museum of Art.

The retrospective will offer an opportunity to revisit his artistic contributions and recognize his place within the region’s cultural history.

DIVERSEartPB: The Future as a Collaborative Human Experience

The 2027 program will include a new edition of DIVERSEartPB, curated by Marisa Caichiolo, under the theme The Future as a Collaborative Human Experience.

The program proposes a collective reflection on the future, exploring the role of art as a space for connection, exchange, and the creation of new forms of shared experience.

Caichiolo comes to this edition following her participation as co-curator of the Official Pavilion of Chile at the 61st Venice Art Biennale.

The continuation of DIVERSEartPB adds a curatorial dimension to the fair, extending the conversation beyond the art market to address contemporary cultural and social issues.

A Platform for South Florida’s Art Community

Alongside its international reach, Art Palm Beach will maintain a strong regional presence through the participation of South Florida galleries.

Confirmed exhibitors include Provident Fine Art, Rosenbaum, and JF Gallery, a Latina- and woman-owned gallery based in West Palm Beach. Holden Luntz Gallery will also participate for the first time.

The presence of these galleries helps strengthen connections between the international art market and the local artistic community, positioning Palm Beach as a meeting point for collectors, professionals, and cultural institutions.

Following the results announced in 2026, the upcoming edition will seek to build on this momentum through a program combining established artists, new gallery presentations, and curatorial projects.

Art Palm Beach 2027 thus presents an opportunity to observe both trends in the modern and contemporary art market and the cultural transformations redefining relationships among artists, galleries, and collectors.
