Art Miami Magazine is pleased to officially announce its Publication Open Call for the upcoming Summer 2026 Print Edition, which will feature a limited selection of emerging, mid-career, and established visual artists whose practices demonstrate a distinctive artistic identity, sustained commitment, research, and a clearly defined visual language.
This editorial open call invites visual artists to submit their work for editorial consideration. Through this Call for Art Submissions, Art Miami Magazine seeks artists whose practices can contribute meaningfully to the publication and to the broader conversation surrounding contemporary art.
Publishing four print and digital editions each year, Art Miami Magazine is an independent editorial platform dedicated to expanding the visibility, documentation, and recognition of contemporary artists. Our purpose goes beyond simply presenting artworks: we seek to build meaningful editorial context around each artist’s practice and create a professional record that remains accessible in both print and digital formats.
Benefits for Selected Artists
Artists selected for the 2026 Print Edition will receive a dedicated two-page editorial feature designed to professionally present their artistic practice, trajectory, ideas, and visual language.
The feature may include a high-resolution portrait of the artist, along with a selection of up to two featured artworks, accompanied by relevant technical and editorial information.
Each artist presentation will also include a professionally developed curatorial or critical text that contextualizes the work, its concepts, processes, materials, and principal areas of artistic investigation. Our intention is for the publication to function not only as a visual presentation, but also as a meaningful form of documentation and critical engagement with the artist’s practice.
Digital Editorial Presence
The artist’s editorial presence will extend beyond the printed magazine. Selected artists will also be featured on the Art Miami Magazine digital platform through a dedicated article and will have the opportunity to participate in an editorial interview for Art Miami Magazine Digital.
The interview will explore the artist’s career, creative process, influences, ideas, research, artistic development, and perspective on their own practice, allowing readers to engage more deeply with both the work and the person behind it.
This integration of print and digital content creates multiple points of access to the artist’s work. Content published on our online platform also contributes to strengthening the artist’s digital presence, search-engine visibility, and discoverability within the broader online art ecosystem.
Social Media Promotion
Participation also includes promotion through Art Miami Magazine’s social media channels, extending the visibility of selected artists to a community that includes artists, curators, art critics, galleries, collectors, arts professionals, and audiences interested in contemporary art.
Print + Digital Edition
Each selected artist will receive one copy of the printed edition as well as access to the digital edition, which may be preserved as part of their professional archive, career documentation, or portfolio.
Print Distribution
The printed edition of Art Miami Magazine is distributed through a selection of galleries, cultural and art-related venues, direct distribution, and selected residential and hospitality locations. Our website and social media platforms further extend the reach and lifespan of each edition beyond the physical publication.
For us, an editorial feature should not disappear once a magazine’s physical distribution has ended. The combination of a printed feature, digital article, artist interview, curatorial text, and online presence creates a more lasting professional record around each artist’s work and career.

Please make sure that all artwork images are clearly identified with the title, year, medium, and dimensions of each work.

Art Miami Magazine is an independent art publication created and led by artists, with the purpose of supporting fellow artists in the development and documentation of sustainable professional careers.
Our goal is not simply to publish art. We seek to generate visibility, documentation, context, and lasting recognition for artists who have made artistic practice an essential part of their professional lives.

Each edition intentionally maintains a limited number of participating artists in order to provide every selected artist with meaningful editorial space while preserving the quality, focus, and coherence of the publication.
All portfolios received through this editorial open call will be reviewed for editorial consideration. Selected artists will subsequently receive complete information regarding available editorial formats, artist benefits, participation investment, deadlines, distribution, and required materials.
