FLoatarama Names Marysol Patton as 2026 Grand Marshal
Nation’s Largest LGBTQ Pride-on-Water Event Sets Sail on Saturday, June 13 in Fort Lauderdale
FORT LAUDERDALE, Fla. (April 6, 2026) – FLoatarama, a nonprofit organization dedicated to uplifting LGBTQ youth in South Florida, has announced that Marysol Patton will serve as the 2026 Grand Marshal of its signature fundraiser, the nation’s largest Pride-on-Water celebration.
A Miami native and cultural icon, Patton is best known as a star of The Real Housewives of Miami, where her sharp wit and signature charm have made her one of the show’s most recognizable personalities. A seasoned entrepreneur, she is the retired founder of The Patton Group, a luxury PR and events agency that has produced high-profile experiences for global brands including LVMH, Cartier, Gucci and Oscar de la Renta. She resides in Coconut Grove with her husband, Steven McNamara, and is known for her passion for hosting, fashion, philanthropy and creative entrepreneurship.
Presented by Seminole Hard Rock Hotel & Casino Hollywood, the seventh annual FLoatarama will take place Saturday, June 13, 2026 along Fort Lauderdale’s iconic Intracoastal Waterway, celebrating unity, visibility and inclusion while raising critical funds for LGBTQ youth-serving organizations.
500 celebrants will set sail aboard the luxurious Sun Dream Yacht Catalina for an unforgettable 2.5-hour brunch cruise featuring a live DJ, premium open bar and high-energy entertainment. The voyage will be followed by a waterfront T-Dance celebration, all benefiting the FLoatarama LGBTQ Youth Fund.
“Marysol brings star power and genuine passion for giving back, which is exactly what FLoatarama represents,” said Scott Schramm, president of FLoatarama. “While we celebrate in true South Florida style, we’re also raising essential funds to support LGBTQ youth when they need it most.”
#HaveFunDoGood Nonprofit Donates 100% of Proceeds to FLoatarama’s LGBTQ Youth Fund

Supported by an all-volunteer board, FLoatarama operates with no paid staff, ensuring 100% of proceeds directly benefit the LGBTQ Youth Fund, managed by The Our Fund Foundation.
The festivities begin at 10 a.m. at Bokamper’s Sports Bar & Grill, followed by the 11 a.m. departure and an afternoon waterfront celebration.
With its signature blend of purpose and party, FLoatarama continues to prove that giving back can be both meaningful and unforgettable.
