Our Story
The annual Beaux Arts Festival of Art takes place on the beautiful grounds of the University of Miami in Coral Gables, Florida.
Each year, thousands of art patrons from the highly-sophisticated and international Miami community visit the Festival to view and purchase original artworks from approximately 220 juried exhibitors.
Cash prizes totaling over $20,000 are be presented to juried artists across ten categories, as well as to the winners of the Student Artist Showcase, which features art from students all over Miami-Dade County.
The Beaux Arts Festival of Art is free to the public and offers live eclectic music, children’s art experiences, fabulous dining options and free admission all weekend to the Lowe Art Museum.

Mission
Beaux Arts is a volunteer organization whose purpose is to encourage an understanding and appreciation of the arts in South Florida. All proceeds from Beaux Arts go to serve this purpose. This includes offering outreach programs to children in our community, such as HandsOn! and the Student Artist Showcase, where children have opportunities to learn about art and participate in the artistic process. Beaux Arts also sponsors a Festival of Art every year at no cost to the patrons. This event draws artists in a variety of mediums, exposing the community at large to numerous forms of visual art. Finally, Beaux Arts provides support to the Lowe Art Museum by assisting with important art acquisitions, contributing to the museum’s ongoing operation, and by enhancing its educational programming and outreach.
